My name is Jacob. Unlike all the savvy entrepreneurs you hear about on shows like Shark Tank, I didn’t set out to do this. Like, at all. I didn’t have a dream, or a sales pitch, or any notion of making signs for people. I bought a 3D printer because I thought they were fascinating, and I wanted to make things to accentuate my woodworking. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on hand-hammered steel accents, why not print them in plastic? Why spend hours scouring the internet looking for that perfect piece of trim that probably doesn’t exist anyway, when I could just design it and bring it to life myself?

That was the plan.

Then I stumbled on a lighted sign someone designed for a motorcycle brand. I downloaded the files and printed one as a gift for my dad. He said, “you should sell these.” I don’t know about all that… this is just a one-off. I totally redesigned the file from the ground up and printed a sign for a good friend’s business logo. He said, “you should sell these.” I made a few more as gifts for other people, and always got the same response… “You should sell these.”

So, with a healthy skepticism that anyone would actually be interested, I took some photos of a sign that I made and listed it online. Almost immediately, it sold. I made another. It sold. By the end of the first weekend, I’d sold half a dozen or so. “Wow, this could actually go somewhere,” I thought.

I made some refinements to my designs - a tweak here to make it look more professional… a tweak there to make it more efficient to print. Throughout the process of the first hundred or so that I made and sold, I dialed in every aspect I could, and now I’m confident that I’m bringing people a keepsake they can enjoy for years to come.

My signs have a consistency and quality that I’m really proud of, and a wow factor I think you’ll be equally proud to display in your space. I have more than 150 designs at the time of writing this, and I add new ones almost every day.
